I have definitely become a big fan of pierogi since moving to the Cleveland area several years ago.  I remember the first pierogi I ever tried was at the Hartville Flea Market, hot and freshly cooked from the food stand, and of course I loved it!  How could you not enjoy this scrumptious Eastern European dumpling filled with potato and cheese, similar to Italian ravioli, but with endless savory and sweet flavor combinations?  Since that time, I always serve pierogi when my family visits, have given pierogi as Christmas gifts, and have explored the many flavor options and best places to eat pierogi around Cleveland.  If you love pierogi too (doesn’t everyone?), the upcoming Pints and Pierogies event hosted by the Young Professionals of Parma on Friday, Oct. 13th is for you!

Pints and Pierogies was last held four years ago in 2019, and since it had been a few years, it seemed like the ideal time to bring this successful event back into the rotation.  At this year’s festivities, attendees will get to sample six of Parma and the Cleveland area’s best pierogis, with each vendor bringing their top flavor!  Vendors include The Pierogi Lady, Perla Pierogis, Rudy’s Strudel, Ridgewood Inn, Pierogies of Cleveland, and Schnitz Ale Brewery.  While enjoying, be sure to cast your vote for your favorite pierogi!

In addition to delectable pierogies, attendees will enjoy an open bar with beers provided by local favorite, Schnitz Ale Brewery.  This is a great chance to try some of their best brews, which are a perfect pairing to pierogi.  The Chardon Polka Band will provide festive entertainment for the evening with their jovial mix of traditional and modern eclectic polka songs, along with polka inspired rock covers.  Raffles and a rousing game of Heads or Tails will also be part of the night, so be sure to bring cash!

Pierogis, brews, a polka band, and a chance to win prizes?  Sounds like a perfect Parma evening!  Grab your friends and join us at The Overlook located at 5313 Hauserman Road Parma, OH on Friday, Oct. 13th!

Tickets are limited, so be sure to secure yours today!
