Bob and Kelly Lasecki are owners of Parma’s longtime neighborhood “shot & beer” bar the Last Stop Inn on State Road. Just down the street, they were inspired to open a place with a slightly more modern, homey feel with more craft beer selections, a delicious food menu and live music. The result was Sloppy Bob’s. We caught up with the Laseckis to learn more.

Why Sloppy Bob’s?

Key West is our favorite place. It’s where we were married and we go back every year. One of our favorite bars there is Sloppy Joe’s. When we bought the old Nickys Cafe about 3 years ago, we envisioned a place with an island feel, great friends, local brews, live music and amazing food. We named it after Bob and I think we nailed it!

What’s your favorite menu item?

Our menu is really unique from Reuben gyro pizza to the Parmabilly sandwich tospicy boysenberry wings and more. But our favorite is the Fat A$$ cheeseburger pizza. It’s something we had on our very first date.

What are your specials/happy hour?

Monday to Thursday, our happy hour is 3pm to 6pm, Friday, it’s 11am to 2:30pm. Saturday and Sunday we have brunches from 10am to 2pm with happy hours as well. We have specials most days. Check them out here!

Why did you choose to be in the Parma area and why do you love it?

We have worked in Parma for 25 years and love to support our community.
